It wasn't the batteries. My digital camera bit the big one.
An initial investigation has revealed the following:
"It wasn't me." --Hubby
"I didn't do it." --Son
"I didn't drop it...I swear!" --Daughter
Whatever the case...for now this blog is officially on hiatus, at least until the camera can be repaired or a suitable replacement found.
In the meantime, I will be keeping tabs on all of my fellow 365-ers and leaving tons of comments. You can find my semi-coherent ramblings--including my participation in the upcoming Script Frenzy--on my other blog:

After a week of Blogger problems, battery problems, and camera problems, the stars have finally aligned. I'll post my week's worth of photos later on today...

Stuff I Hate - Part 2
Shopping for new shoes.
And yet I must. My friend has tickets to see Julius Caesar at the Maine Center for the Arts in Orono on Wednesday. One of the tickets is mine...if I get a pair of new shoes. Apparently she's embarrassed to be seen with me in these:
They're the only pair of dress shoes I own. I got 'em at Mardens seven years ago and they've served me faithfully ever since. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with them.

Rejection
I got my first hard copy rejection letter this morning. (Up until now, they've all been emailed.)
I'm disappointed, obviously. Particularly because I REALLY like this agent (well, from what I've read; I've never actually met her). Still...I must (and will) persevere!!
(Agent's name redacted to protect myself from seeming like I'm bitching about someone I actually respect very much).

Let's get the rock outta here...
While in Bangor today, I drove past my favorite radio station, 100.3 WKIT. Stephen King owns it. Here's a close up of the sign:
As I drove past, Def Leppard asked me, and Central Maine:
"Do you wanna get rocked?"
I did. They were more than happy to oblige.

My most prized possession...
An autographed Bill Lee rookie card.

What's a gal to do when the power goes out...
...during a horrible ice storm?
Well, she's gonna write...naturally.
Script Frenzy kicks off in 26 days. I'm going to spend the month of April adapting my novel, Waiting For Spring, into a screenplay. Which means I'll spend the next 26 days making an extensive outline for said screenplay. Here is everything I need for that:
1.) A detailed outline of my novel.
2.) My lucky writing sweater.
3.) Pencil, pens, highlighting markers.
4.) Notebook.
5.) Flashlight. (Did I mention that the power was out when I took this photo?)

Coordinating accessories
I realized tonight that my Tabasco sauces match my tea kettle and cast iron pot.
And here's me going all Andy Warhol on my picture...
